Our Origin Story
WE Believe International was born from a simple, eternal conviction: that the Kingdom of Heaven was never meant to stay in Heaven. What started as a whisper in prayer became a bold movement. One that calls believers to unite as one body, one spirit, one calling: to bring Heaven to Earth.
WE Believe grew from a desire to meet the most essential human needs: food, water, shelter, healthcare, education and more. Not as charity, but as Kingdom responsibility. Every act of service, every gift, and every connection is rooted in our belief that faith without works is dead and Heaven is built through obedience on Earth.
Statement of Faith & Core Beliefs
At WE Believe International, we believe in One God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the only way to eternal life and true transformation. Our mission is fueled by the Great Commission — to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).
We believe:
- The Bible is the infallible Word of God, our foundation and guide.
- The Kingdom of Heaven is not a concept — it’s a reality to be lived, built, and shared.
- The Body of Christ is one, unified by faith, not divided by denomination.
- The Church is not a building — it’s the people, mobilized for impact.
- Love, truth, and obedience are the vehicles through which Heaven touches Earth.

What is a 508(c)(1)(a)?
WE Believe International is structured as a 508(c)(1)(a) Faith-Based Organization, a legal classification that allows churches and ministries to operate as tax-exempt nonprofit entities without the need for IRS application or approval (unlike 501(c)(3)s).
This structure ensures:
- Faith-first freedom: We’re not bound by political or secular constraints.
- Integrity and protection: We steward funds responsibly while preserving biblical values.
- Ministry without compromise.
Meet the Founders & Leadership
WE Believe International was founded by Jonathan Grinko, a visionary entrepreneur and ministry leader who saw the need for a global movement rooted in faith and built on practical action. With years of experience in humanitarian efforts, business development, and Kingdom collaboration. Jonathan and his team carry a heart for restoration. To restore us to the Father, as it was in the beginning!
Our leadership team includes Kingdom-minded men and women committed to:
- Integrity – Doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
- Family – Embracing a global family beyond bloodlines. Our brothers and sisters around the world are worth fighting for.
- Community – Loving people like Jesus did. Not just the saints, but the struggling, the overlooked, and the lost.
- Kingdom Stewardship – We don’t just receive donations; we multiply them. Many nonprofits consume. We believe in building systems that create recurring Kingdom impact through sustainability, not dependency.
